About the Project
The Turing project was prompted by the need for resources for best practices videos to enhance farmer uptake of Ecological Organic Agriculture techniques for biodiversity conservation in Africa and ultimaletly contribute to improved food security, household incomes, better nutrition and biodiversity conservation for a least 3000 farmers and Extension Officers in the three countries the project is undertaken namely Kenya, Benin and Mali.
The Objectives to achieve the forementioned result will include:
- Identifying key organic agriculture techniques and best practices and innovations from agricultural value chains focusing on biodiversity conservation and environmental resilience.
- Hold stakeholder forums organised to identify best practices
- Ultimately Produce best practices videos on Ecological Organic Agriculture techniques foor biodiversity conservation.
- Screen and Upload the videos resources on platforms that are easily accessible to anyone especially farmers.
