NAIROBI November 25, 2015 – Representatives of organisations involved in the Ecological Organic Agriculture Initiative (EOA) have benefited from training in Project and Financial Management.
The training of the 18 project officers, drawn from six African countries, was meant to strengthen their capacities to coordinate and manage EOA Initiative project activities in transparent, effective and efficient ways.
According to Venancia Wambua, the EOA Project Manager, the workshop aimed at enhancing participants’ understanding of project and finance management principles and best practices for organizational and project success.
“This is an opportunity to strengthen partners’ skills on effective on project performance for various key stakeholders, including donors, Continental Steering Committee, national platforms, among others. Training is an important component of EOA,” Ms Wambua added.
The five days training was held at Gelian Hotel in Machakos.
